It was a great finish to the 2021 Summer Tournament at Campus Pollyeyes! Even after 3 weeks of competition, the scores were tight at the top. So close, in fact, that the wagers really came into play to determine our overall winner. But the team that came out on top, and deserved this victory, your 2021 Summer Tournament Champion.....

Tournament Information

Form a team and join us at Campus Polleyes Toledo for a Three Week Trivia Tournament! Each team's points will accumulate over the course of three weeks. The team accruing the most points at the end will be crowned champion! The tournament starts July 8 at 7:00 PM.

  • Tournament teams still qualify to win weekly prizes

  • Non-Tournament teams can still participate for weekly prizes

Space is limited, so arrive early to register and get a table!

Tournament Dates

Week 1: Thursday, July 8 @ 7:00 PM
Week 2: Thursday, July 15 @ 7:00 PM
Week 3: Thursday, July 22 @ 7:00 PM

Basic Rules

  • NO CHEATING! This means NO cell phones!

  • Don't shout out the answers!

  • Answers that have been turned in are final - no corrections!

  • Rulings made by the host are final!

Prizes

  • Prizes will be awarded to the top team each week. A tie-breaking question will be used as needed.

  • The team which has scored the most points total over all 3 games shall be declared the champion and win the grand prize.

The Gameplay

  • Teams may be made up of 1 to 8 players.

  • Only participating team members may sit with a team during a game

  • All teams must submit the names of each team member and designate a team captain before the game. No substitutions during a game

  • Each team may use up to two substitutes from game to game, but not after a game has started

  • The tournament is made up of three games played over three weeks.

  • Each game consists of five rounds, including a picture round, made up of ten questions per round worth 2 points each

  • There is a "lightning round" worth 5 points following each round.

  • Each game ends with a final wager round worth 0 - 20 points.

  • Categories include, but are not limited to, general knowledge, music, movies, television, sports, and history.
